Hi all, I have got e-tools now, and I have downloaded the patches and updated it from version 3.0e to 3.5e, and I must say it is looking rather good.

Datasets are purchased seperately, and each dataset is basically a book, e.g. Forgotten Realms has a few datasets, the Campaign world, Players stuff and other stuff besides. And you got the core rules data sets etc.

Do you want me to bring it round next session if anyone wants to look at it?

Just found out that they are releasing a new patch that is the mother of all patches so I shall wait till that is released and then sort it all out.

Can people aim to get to mine on Wednesday on time ie 6pm, we need to raise Aisan and then do a quest in payment to the Temple in Hommlett.

This will involve hunting down a dragon, preferably killing it before it kills you.

Alternatively, you could just leave Aisan on the floor as jam.

Please note additional session has also now been put on the calendar for saturday, 4pm at Nick's.

Later start time is to accomodate paul who has to cover an event in London for his GCSE.

He may be twitching when he arrives.

Please do not wait to order food - I shall be bringin my own stuff again tonight.

Also, I shall bring e-tools on Sat instead, as I am in the middle of downloading a load of Data sets.

A data set is essentially a book - e.g. complete warrior, complete devine, exalted deeds etc, so I shall be busy downloading loads of them to work with the new and hopefully final patch.

As an added note, e-tools (with the patches) will allw you to specify if you want to run 3.0e or 3.5e! You then just get the datasets you want for whichever edition you want to run, so I am just getting the 3.5 datasets

Aisanís crushed and battered corpse was rolled into a snug bundle and carried out of the temple. The PCís arrived in Hommlett and spoke to the Head Cleric, she was willing to regenerate Aisan if the party undertook a quest. They agreed.

Aisan was smothered with herbs and healing ointments. A ring of regeneration was placed on his finger and he was raised. The pain was terrible as the ring and the use of healing spells and emergency surgery by Lisos and Orbis kept him alive. His bones straightened and flesh flowed back to fill his gaping wounds.

He was back. Several arguments about magical items then resulted.

The quest was to track down a cleric, Yarris, who had been travelling to Hommlett to drop of important scrolls, Temple correspondence and a potion to restore some youth for the Head Cleric. (Three years were lost when she resurrected Aisan the last time he got himself killed).

Yarris was travelling with an apprentice and two guards, he was due here a week ago and had not arrived. It was feared he had been waylaid by bandits or worse.

Rumours were circulating in Hommlett about a dragon that had been sighted. Despite this the PCís decided to set off, Darf decided to live up to his name and scout ahead alone in a swamp full of beasties. He met a Hydra, Aisan fireballed the beast nearly catching darf in the blast radius. Liberal use of magic missiles on the beasts heads then finished it off.

It was decided to burn the creatures head, the great clouds of smoke that curled up through the clouds attracted other monsters, a group of horse sized dragon flies, the PCís beat a hasty retreat, seeing a large flapping creature flying about 5 miles away. Whatever the beast was it was big and fast, it turned and flew in the general direction of the fire, only to be lost as darkness descended.

The party fled. Setting up camp in the swamp on a dry hillock. That night above the croaks of frogs, the humming of insects and the roar of crocodiles Orbis heard footsteps and evil cackling laughter approaching. A group of ghasts was approaching. The Paladin un-sheaved the continual light lantern (darkness stone now removed) creating a wonderful beacon visible for miles.

A great roar was heard emanating from the west, the party slew the Ghasts, closed the lantern and got out of there quick They evaded whatever beast had made that great roar, and the next day spied a trio of Giants who were poking about in the swamp. The Paladin was all for slaying them (15HD each so not likely), and scouted forward with the cloak of elven kind, on reaching them they were found not to be evil and were in the company of a yong boy.

A conversation between the groups occurred, the boy was the apprentice, he described a dragon attack on the boat he and the cleric were travelling in. He saw his master and the two guards eaten by the dragon that flew away. Quick to see an asset the party offered the 24í tall giants a deal, if they would support the Keep during the impending invasion they would be supplied with giant sized metal weapons and kill some orcs.

The giants supplied some info about the dragon, which was described as a big green with poison gas as a breath weapon. It had been seen to the West were it tended to stay, these appeared to be itís regular hunting grounds.

The PCís dropped off the Apprentice at Port Cullen and prepared to resupply and take on the dragon.

Xp was 1200 each.

Nope. I am in full favour of scantily clad women with low moral standards rubbing their breasts in my face. I am not in favour of not getting a press-pass into the event, and refuse to cover it if they won't let me in for free. If they want the free publicity from me, they shouldn't expect me to have to pay to give it to them.

So, no Baby Jesus Butt Plugs for you.

Damien,

Check your e-mail, I posted the issue you were having with e-tools on CMP forum. I have sent you a link to the answer.

The CMP guys are REALLY good! also because they are in USA, they answer UK queries quicker in the late afternoon/evening as it is there morning/mid day, but they are often up till late or work really early as they have answered some of my questions in the morning!

What you mean the sig?

You need to get an online image account first I use: http://www.photobucket.com/

Then you go to your profile area and in the sig bit, you point to the URL for the image you uploaded to Photobucket.

snorg had to tweak the code slightly though (some forums require specific tags which I had left in but I think this forum you don't).

I think I know what you have done wrong! It looks like you have forgotten to put the file type extension on the end! e.g.

hmm it must be working cause you wouldn't see my sig otherwise. But you definately have the file type missing off the end e.g. .jpg or jpeg, .gif .pnp etc.

If memory serves me right, Photobucket gives you 2 codes to copy, neither will work exactly, but it's because you have to put the " " in as they are not in the photobucket suggestions.

Ahhh.

OK, tell you what, pop into www.playstation.co.uk amd go to Forums, and then go to the Forum marked Art and Sigs Forum.

One of the sticky topics is in regards to setting up sigs and accounts, and lots of peeps mention different companies that do the same thing as Photobucket.
