How many policemen does it take to make a sandwich?

None - It's impossible to make a sandwich by throwing the ingredients down stairs.

10th is good. Its my only free weekend until 8th December so I may have to miss the Snorgathon.

Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, nukes and proximity fused missiles.

Argh. 10th I have something booked... and I can't get out of it!
Also, following weekend is g/f's birthday - disappearing for most of the weekend is not going to be possible!

"That was then. This is now. And you're toast."

At this point the GM screamed 'can we stop the roleplaying and get on with the hack and slash please?'. The whole party sat stunned, in awe, for several seconds (apart from Paul, who made a knob joke).

I can make it for the Snorgathon in the evening. I'm sure I can drink fast enough to catch up.

Can't make the 10th, should be around for the Oxford trip (is it gaming, a booze-a-thon or both?).

Have a good game tomorrow - I'm sad to miss the first D&D action for a couple of months.

As Matt trusted me to guide his character once before, he can shepherd Orbis on this occasion.

Matt: If Orbis is essential for turning or spellcasting he can be considered available at yours or Nick's discretion - but he should probably be kept out of front-line combat where sensible. If going anywhere near the vampires he will have Negative Plane Protection running; he is also very likely to have Wind Column for falling protection and multiple Endure Colds to hand. He'll tend to glyph his own weapon first for self-defence, but after that is quite generous in empowering weapons of those he trusts. He will not let anyone endure hunger or poison if he can help it. Don't forget his boots of speed, ring of jumping, and ring of fire resistance; also, bear in mind that he has good saving throws and may rely on them in a tight spot.
